What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be responsible for supporting the trade process from end to end, from capturing and processing trade instructions through to settlement and reconciliation. You’ll liaise with brokers, administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve queries, run portfolio and cash reports, and perform pre-trade compliance checks. You’ll handle Finswitch file uploads, manage daily pricing, and assist with new fund launches, account setups, and operational queries. Your role will also include supporting the Senior Administrator and Team Leader in maintaining the smooth operation of the asset administration function.

What you’ll need

A completed finance degree is essential and you’ll have 1–2 years of experience in investments or fund administration, with a solid understanding of the asset administration landscape. You know how a Management Company operates alongside its Administrator and are comfortable working with industry systems such as Finswitch. Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills are key, along with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
