Technical Sales Representative (Process Industry)

Location: Alberton

Salary: Market related

Love technical sales and fast-paced environments? Here's your chance to shape flow in the process industry.

Is this you?

You’re someone who thrives in complex environments, where pressure, precision, and uptime matter. You’ve got a technical mindset, but you’re also commercially sharp and know how to speak your clients’ language. You’re methodical, responsive, and take ownership from first contact to final delivery. Building relationships with engineers, buyers, and plant managers? That’s where you shine.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be managing and growing business across the process industry, working with manufacturing plants, chemical processors, and industrial users to offer valve solutions that are safe, efficient, and fit for purpose. You’ll handle everything from tenders and quotes to on-site support and troubleshooting. You’ll deliver product training, keep your CRM data sharp, and stay close to what’s happening on the ground. This is a role where technical knowledge meets commercial impact; and if that excites you, you’ll love the pace and responsibility.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be joining a global leader in engineered valve solutions, known for its innovation and quality in demanding sectors. Locally, the team is agile, well-respected, and serious about customer service. They back their products with hands-on support and a culture of doing things properly. It’s a place where professionals take pride in their work.

What you’ll need

You’ll need Matric and a diploma in Business Management, along with 5–10 years’ experience in technical sales within process-driven industries like chemicals, F&B, or industrial manufacturing. A mechanical or environmental engineering degree would be a big advantage. You’ll need to understand compliance and standards in the process sector, be comfortable with CRM systems, and ready to travel to client sites and plants regularly.

What you’ll get

A broad client base, industry credibility, and strong internal support. You’ll have the freedom to manage your region, build trusted relationships, and be part of a business that values technical integrity and long-term partnerships.
