What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
As a Junior Sales Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of a dynamic Solar PV company. You’ll support the sales team by understanding and applying mechanical and structural concepts to design rooftop and ground-mounted structures, including Fixed-tilt Systems, Single Axis Trackers, and Rooftop applications. Your role includes generating professional drawings, collaborating with project stakeholders, and supporting project management teams. Working within global organisational structure, you’ll interact with various departments, ensuring that you’re at the centre of innovation in the Solar PV industry.
Where you’ll be doing it
You’ll be based in Midrand, South Africa, working closely with a global, multidisciplinary engineering team. You will be part of a growing and leading renewables company that is growing from strength to strength. The culture is fast-paced and down to earth and you will be working alongside like-minded people with a passion for renewables.
What you’ll need
To excel in this role, you’ll need a relevant tertiary qualification in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, a genuine interest in the Solar PV industry, proficiency in structural and mechanical concepts, proven experience with 2D and 3D drafting and design software, a professional approach to work, and impeccable attention to detail.
