You’ll play a vital role in designing and detailing bespoke renewable energy systems, from PV layouts to custom battery enclosures. Your day-to-day will involve preparing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks, and developing electrical schematics including single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and panel designs. You’ll also produce mechanical drawings for structures and enclosures, always ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Working closely with engineers, your work will directly impact project success.Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll need at least 3 years of draughting experience (ideally 5+), with strong skills in both AutoCAD (electrical and mechanical) and either Inventor or SolidWorks. A background in solar PV design and mechanical integration of energy systems is essential, as is your ability to manage time effectively, maintain version control, and work autonomously as well as in a team.What you’ll get
