You’re an analytical, detail-focused ABAP Developer who takes pride in clean code and solving technical problems properly. Comfortable working independently, you also enjoy collaborating with functional consultants, analysts and testers, taking ownership while knowing when to involve senior technical specialists.What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
Your focus will be developing, enhancing and supporting ABAP solutions within SAP Output Management System (OMS), including reports, integrations, forms, workflows and output processes. You’ll troubleshoot defects and performance issues, work with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, OData and web services, and support testing, documentation and releases. Success means reliable, first-time-right output objects and efficiently resolved incidents. You’ll enjoy the combination of hands-on development, problem-solving and continuous improvement.Where you’ll be doing it
Join an international technology consulting environment delivering sophisticated SAP solutions. Based in Cape Town, you’ll work in an agile, collaborative team with a strong focus on technical quality and dependable business outcomes, with three days per week in the office.What you’ll need
Bring roughly 2 to 5 years’ ABAP development experience plus a relevant IT, Computer Science or Software Development qualification, or equivalent practical experience. Strong core ABAP, ABAP Objects, Open SQL, Data Dictionary, debugging and performance analysis are essential, alongside experience with ALV, Smart Forms and/or Adobe Forms, enhancements, BAdIs, BAPIs, IDocs and RFCs. S/4HANA, CDS, Fiori, RAP or ABAP Cloud exposure is advantageous.What you’ll get
