You’ll provide operational support within a busy machine shop environment, focusing on maintenance schedules, routine servicing and ensuring equipment reliability. Your day will involve fault finding, machine inspections, repairs and assisting with workshop-related tasks while contributing to planned maintenance activities. You’ll also support breakdown resolution and help maintain engineering standards across the operation. You’ll need to be a qualified artisan with at least 3 years’ machine shop experience. You have cylindrical grinding, form grinding and surface grinding experience. Strong fault-finding ability, machine maintenance knowledge and a good understanding of engineering principles are essential. Experience with planned maintenance systems and exposure to a manufacturing environment will help you succeed in this role. A proactive mindset, reliability and the ability to work independently are equally important.What you’ll get
