Installing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks, routers, access points and internet distribution systems will form a key part of your day. The work also covers CCTV, access control, intercoms, satellite television, speakers, amplifiers, multi-room audio and home theatre systems. You will run and terminate network cabling, complete electronic fault-finding and support conference room and commercial audio-visual installations, always aiming for a safe, professional finish.Where you’ll be doing it
Across residential and commercial properties, the work moves between private homes, wine estates, restaurants, hotels and businesses. This specialist electronic installations environment combines networking, security and audio-visual technology, with most assignments based in Stellenbosch and additional work in Somerset West, Franschhoek and Paarl.What you’ll need
Practical technical experience matters more here than a formal qualification. Experience installing CCTV, intercoms, sound and satellite television systems is required, while Wi-Fi, networking or electronic installation experience will be highly advantageous. You must understand cabling and electronic fault-finding, communicate in Afrikaans and English, have reliable transport and be comfortable working at heights.What you’ll get
