You’re a commercially driven hunter who knows the South African solar market inside out. Building relationships comes naturally, and you’ve earned credibility with EPCs, developers, distributors and installers through years of working in the industry. You’re self-motivated, confident engaging with senior decision-makers and thrive on uncovering new opportunities while turning conversations into long-term partnerships.

You’ll take ownership of expanding the company’s presence across Southern Africa by developing and executing business development strategies that deliver measurable growth. From identifying new opportunities and managing the full sales cycle to strengthening relationships with key industry stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving market success. Working alongside technical specialists, you’ll provide customer-focused solutions while representing the business at industry events and customer meetings. What you’ll need

A proven track record in business development within the renewable energy sector is essential, together with an established network across the South African solar industry. Experience selling technical products or solutions into EPCs, developers, distributors or commercial customers is highly desirable, along with strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills. Exposure to solar mounting systems, inverters, distribution or EPC environments, supported by a technical or engineering qualification, would be advantageous.
