Take ownership of calibration projects at utility-scale solar PV plants, from planning and travel arrangements through to on-site execution, client liaison and reporting. You’ll work hands-on with meteorological and solar sensors, data loggers, calibration equipment, hardware and software. Expect regular travel to project sites, including remote locations in South Africa and abroad. You’ll enjoy the variety, independence and opportunity to develop specialist technical expertise.Where you’ll be doing it
Join a small, energetic specialist team providing technical calibration services to large-scale solar energy projects. It’s an environment suited to someone who values responsibility, practical learning and exposure to the expanding renewable energy sector.What you’ll need
Matric plus a technical qualification and/or relevant technical experience and a valid driver’s licence are essential. You’ll need to be comfortable with outdoor fieldwork and frequent travel. Experience with data loggers, meteorological equipment, solar sensors, calibration or quality control is advantageous, as are strong report-writing skills and previous work experience.What you’ll get
