What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll lead all SHEQ activities for the Construction division nationwide, ensuring compliance with OHSA and MHSA legislation. From compiling and maintaining safety files to managing site inspections and audits, you’ll have full oversight of risk, incidents, and corrective actions. You’ll guide a team of Safety Officers, represent the company in audits, and be the key contact for clients, contractors, and authorities. With influence across tenders, project launches, and performance dashboards, you’ll play a vital role in promoting best practices and cross-site learning.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring at least 8 years’ SHEQ management experience across multi-site construction environments, backed by a BTech or Advanced Diploma in Safety Management (NQF 7). SACPCMP registration at CHSM level is essential, along with COMSOC 1 & 2 and a deep understanding of OHSA, MHSA, and related systems like HSEC and Passport 360. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are also required.
