Still spending more time fixing data than unlocking its value? Join a team building smarter, scalable finance data solutions.

Is this you?

You enjoy solving complex problems, automating repetitive processes and turning messy data into meaningful business outcomes. Naturally analytical and detail-oriented, you thrive in collaborative environments where you can engage with stakeholders, influence better ways of working and deliver practical solutions. Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement will set you apart.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

This opportunity will see you working closely with finance and technical teams to automate data movement across enterprise systems, develop robust data transformation solutions and create tactical tools using Python, SQL and Excel. You’ll help build high-quality data products, contribute to real-time data integrations using Kafka and support analytics and reporting initiatives. You will enjoy this because you’ll have the freedom to combine hands-on technical delivery with strategic data product development, directly influencing how financial information is leveraged across the organisation.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a forward-thinking organisation operating at the intersection of finance and modern data engineering. The environment encourages innovation, collaboration and ownership, with a strong focus on scalable architecture, self-service capabilities and sustainable data practices. Working remotely, you’ll partner with talented professionals who value technical excellence and continuous learning.

What you’ll need

A strong background in Python development, data transformation and automation is essential, along with advanced SQL skills and expert-level Excel capability. Experience with Kafka, Protobuf, JSON, DuckDB and S3-compatible storage platforms will be highly valued. Exposure to Data Mesh principles, data governance, reporting tools and financial processes such as reconciliation and reporting will strengthen your application. Previous experience collaborating with distributed teams is important.

What you’ll get

In return, you’ll secure a fully remote opportunity where your expertise will have a visible impact on both operational efficiency and long-term data strategy. You’ll gain exposure to modern data technologies, complex finance environments and meaningful projects that support business growth and innovation.
