Duration: 12 month contract

Play a pivotal role in shaping a trusted, high-quality data environment for strategic business decisions.

Is this you?

You’re a detail-obsessed data champion with a passion for accuracy and governance. You love collaborating with business and tech teams, and you’re energised by solving complex data problems. You know how to engage stakeholders, enforce data policies, and thrive in high-compliance environments. Analytical and articulate, you’ve got what it takes to promote best practices and drive organisation-wide data stewardship.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll serve as the go-to expert for your data domains—ensuring integrity, consistency, and traceability of critical data assets. From implementing governance frameworks to managing business glossaries and metadata, your work will underpin regulatory compliance and empower data-driven decisions. Expect to lead data cleansing efforts, ensure alignment to strategy, and support architecture discussions, all while enabling strong collaboration across business and tech stakeholders.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is a respected financial services organisation with a strong reputation for innovation, regulatory excellence, and data maturity. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment that values integrity, transparency, and long-term impact.

What you’ll need

You’ll have at least 5 years’ experience in Data Management, Quality, or Business Analysis roles, ideally within financial services. A relevant degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or Finance is essential. Familiarity with frameworks like DAMA DMBOK or DCAM is key, as is hands-on experience with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Power BI. You’ll also be confident with metadata, lineage, and regulatory compliance like POPIA or BCBS 239.

What you’ll get

A senior contract opportunity to make a visible impact. You’ll work in a high-performing data environment, collaborating with industry leaders and driving real value through trusted data practices.
