Salary: Market related
Duration: 12 month contract

Help build a pioneering digital bank – shape the future of data platforms with cutting-edge tech.

Is this you?

You’re a detail-oriented, collaborative team player with a passion for automation and modern infrastructure. Communicating clearly comes naturally to you—whether written or verbal—and you’re comfortable working remotely across global teams. You’re proactive, eager to learn, and thrive on solving complex problems through innovation.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll play a critical role in creating a scalable, self-service data platform using modern Data Mesh principles for a brand-new digital-only bank in Northern Africa. This includes designing and maintaining automation frameworks, managing CI/CD pipelines, and orchestrating infrastructure through tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLab. You’ll work with a modern stack (Iceberg, Kafka, Spark, Trino, and more) to enhance platform automation, reliability, and security. As part of a multidisciplinary and globally distributed team, you’ll ensure the platform’s performance meets the highest standards while continuously integrating new technologies.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is a pioneering fintech player in the Northern African region, driving the buildout of a new, digital-only bank from the ground up. The organisation is forward-thinking and places a strong emphasis on innovation, autonomy, and cross-border collaboration. Known for its commitment to regulatory compliance and cutting-edge architecture, the team culture values agility, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and hands-on skills with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Your background includes scripting, managing cloud and on-prem environments, and working within modern data architectures. Familiarity with Data Mesh concepts is key, and exposure to governance or security in banking environments is a bonus.

What you’ll get

You’ll join a high-impact, high-visibility project at the forefront of digital transformation in banking. With a flexible remote-first setup and exposure to the latest tools and practices, you’ll be part of something ambitious and forward-looking.
