In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical and solar installations on both residential and commercial sites. You’ll perform critical tasks such as fault finding, firmware updates, and online settings checks, ensuring systems run at their best. Your work will also involve applying knowledge of communication protocols like RS485, Modbus, and TCP. With a company vehicle at your disposal, you’ll travel to sites as required, helping to deliver reliable, sustainable energy solutions.Where you’ll be doing it
You’ll join a dynamic and fast-growing business in the renewable energy sector, known for delivering solar projects from small residential solutions to commercial sites of up to 15MW. Alongside solar installations, they also provide general electrical services and ongoing operations and maintenance support. You’ll hold a Red Seal qualification, Matric, and a valid driver’s licence. Proven knowledge of solar systems is essential, along with computer literacy for system checks and updates. Familiarity with communication protocols such as RS485, Modbus, and TCP will set you apart. Bilingual ability in English and Afrikaans are required.What you’ll get
