What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll take full ownership of the business development function – leading a small team, refining sales strategy, and securing new business in the commercial and industrial solar space. You’ll grow revenue by identifying new market opportunities, nurturing client partnerships, and guiding your team to consistently meet targets. From RFPs and contracts to client presentations and CRM management, you’ll oversee the full sales lifecycle while reporting directly to the COO. You’ll play a key role in shaping partnerships, strengthening the company’s market presence, and driving sustainable growth.

You’ll join a respected EPCM firm in the renewable energy sector, specialising in solar and energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial clients. What you’ll need

You’ll bring a minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience and 5+ years in a senior business development role, specifically within solar rooftop or related energy sectors. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Strong sales strategy skills, CRM experience, and excellent communication abilities are essential. You’ll need to be commercially savvy, results-driven, and comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels.
