Shape strategy. Drive performance. Lead with purpose.

Is this you?

You’re a strategic and diplomatic leader with strong commercial instincts and a calm, structured approach. You enjoy bringing teams together, empowering others, and aligning execution with strategy. Collaborative by nature, you thrive in environments where ethics, precision and performance matter. If you’re adaptable, resilient, and know how to lead through change – without being stuck in your ways, then this could be your next chapter.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll oversee five key departments – Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Technical Services: guiding their leaders and unifying their functions into one aligned, high-performing team. You’ll translate strategic direction into actionable plans, implement systems and processes, drive business intelligence, and strengthen existing client and supplier relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends structure with agility and strategic vision with operational delivery.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a well-established business in the specialised scientific products distribution sector, known for its ethical values, inclusive culture, and high-performance mindset. With over three decades of success and ambitious growth ahead, the company operates nationally with global supplier ties. You’ll work in a professional yet personable environment where feedback is valued, bureaucracy is minimal, and leadership is accessible. It’s a space where your voice matters and where you’ll make a real impact. Their offices are based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

What you’ll need

You bring minimum of 10 years of commercial experience, with at least 5 years managing business leaders. Your background is product-focused, ideally in scientific, medical, or technical sales environments. You’re commercially astute, systems-savvy, and comfortable leading across functions. A business/marketing degree is preferred or otherwise a sciences related qualification. You have a track record of stable employment, strategic execution, and empowering cross-functional teams to succeed. You’re also agile, process driven and someone that has a holistic view of a company and experienced in driving top performing teams.

What you’ll get

Alongside a basic salary and provident fund contribution, there are quarterly bonuses. Expect a structured environment that’s big on collaboration and the opportunity to influence real change at executive level.
