What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll provide key administrative support to the private client investment team, ensuring the accurate and timeous processing of portfolio transactions. Your day will include managing morning data downloads, processing withdrawals and deposits, opening and closing accounts, monitoring client cash balances and preparing full CGT calculations for portfolio liquidations. You’ll liaise with stockbrokers, execute trades once approved, maintain accurate client data across portfolio systems, handle service requests within 24 hours and ensure monthly reporting is completed on time. It’s a role that offers exposure to both domestic and offshore share portfolios in a fast-paced, professional environment.

You will be fully office based in Claremont so you need to live in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.

What you’ll need

A completed BCom degree is essential with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment administration. Exposure to share portfolios, both local and offshore, trade support and experience liaising with stockbrokers will be advantageous.. Strong Excel skills are essential, and exposure to eCube, xPlan or Opus (DMA) would be advantageous.
