IT Manager

Location: Randburg

Salary: Market related

Take ownership of IT operations and shape the future of a growing business’s technology landscape.

Is this you?

You’re a hands-on IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems. You take accountability for service delivery, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and can juggle multiple priorities without losing focus. You’re collaborative, practical, and passionate about building efficient systems while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable service delivery across the business while managing an internal team and external providers. From supporting infrastructure, cloud environments, and Microsoft 365 to driving system upgrades and modernisation, you’ll play a key role in both execution and planning. You’ll oversee cybersecurity practices, support compliance initiatives, and coordinate incident response when needed. Alongside this, you’ll manage vendors, contribute to budgeting, and help deliver key projects such as cloud migrations and system implementations—all while fostering a strong, service-oriented IT culture.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a well-established professional environment that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The organisation operates with a modern, forward-thinking approach to technology, offering you the opportunity to make a visible impact while working within a supportive and growing team.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring proven experience in an IT Manager or similar role, ideally within a small to mid-sized organisation. Strong hands-on expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and general infrastructure is essential, along with a solid understanding of cybersecurity and incident management. Exposure to ISO standards, audits, and compliance frameworks will be advantageous. You should have experience leading or coordinating teams, working with vendors, and aligning IT services with business needs.

What you’ll get

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of IT operations in a visible and impactful role. You’ll enjoy a collaborative environment, meaningful project involvement, and the chance to shape and improve IT service delivery with less bureaucracy and more hands-on influence.
