What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll support the Operations Manager and Chief Investment Officer by delivering accurate and timely operational and financial information to the investment team. Your role will involve maintaining structured client records, setting up and verifying disbursements, reconciling interest income, preparing invoices, and following up on outstanding payments. You’ll monitor portfolio financials, ensure compliance with agreed KPIs and loan covenants, review security documentation, and identify potential risks for escalation. You’ll also contribute to compliance processes and assist with ad-hoc operational tasks, playing a key part in ensuring seamless portfolio administration.

Our client is an international impact investment manager specialising in trade receivables finance across emerging and underserved markets. They partner with financial institutions to unlock capital for SMEs, delivering both strong investor returns and measurable social impact. With a focused, high-performing team, they combine financial discipline with a genuine commitment to strengthening local financial ecosystems globally. You’ll be based in Century City, Cape Town with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

What you’ll need

A completed degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (or near completion), along with strong Excel skills and solid proficiency in MS Office. 2 years’ experience in operations or investment admin gained within asset-based lending or investments is essential. An understanding of financial statements, asset-backed or factoring systems, and an interest in impact investing will strengthen your application. Strong English communication skills are required. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
