Junior Process Engineer (Membrane Technology)

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You will assist project managers and engineers with engineering project related tasks. You will assist with site works, SHEQ matters and functions, including all duties and functions associated with the business and execution of engineering projects as well as after-sales services.

You will assist with the lab operations and pilot plant equipment during R&D tasks. You will get involved in logistics, test documentation, data capturing, test report formulations, service contract implementation, spare parts and components management. You will also be required to deal with clients and suppliers.

 

Where you’ll be doing it

Your new employer is a specialist manufacturer of customised membrane technology solutions used for the clarification, fractionation and concentration of liquids, servicing a variety of industries.

When you are not out at your clients, you will mainly be based in their offices in the west of Johannesburg. You may work from home from to time to time as they do offer a bit of a hybrid work setup.

What you’ll need

This is an entry level position. All you will need is a degree in Chemical Engineering with a keen interest to build and develop a career in liquid filtration and clarification.

Over and above this, a high level of unsupervised, self-motivated level of work is required. Your good communication skills will also be essential.
