Marketing Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Tygervalley, Cape Town

Salary: Market related

Shape strategy, lead events and elevate brand presence in a fast-paced financial services environment!

Is this you?

You’re a confident, hands-on marketing professional who thrives on variety, being in a collaborative team, and enjoys being the go-to person for getting things done. With a flair for content creation, a logical mindset, and the ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks, you’re someone who takes pride in delivering polished work and also enjoy coaching others. If you have a strong understanding of financial services or the relevant marketing experience, drive and smarts to pick it up quickly and you’re known for your ability to turn ideas into execution, this could be your perfect next step.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll report to the Head of marketing and take care of the marketing function for a respected financial services firm, taking charge of digital channels, brand positioning, and communications across multiple brands. Events are a key focus from seminars and webinars to golf days and sponsorships and you’ll mentor the office manager to grow in this space. You’ll manage website content, craft engaging client communications, and play a key role in implementing HubSpot. With access to tools like WordPress, LinkedIn, X, Microsoft Suite, and Everlytic, you’ll help streamline and sharpen the firm’s marketing strategy.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a prestigious financial services entity, revered for its impactful presence in the financial sector, based in Tygervalley. Renowned for pioneering solutions and fostering a culture of excellence, they lead with innovation, integrity, and a commitment to surpassing industry standards. Here, you’ll be part of a team where creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning are the cornerstones, propelling your career to new heights in a young, supportive and dynamic environment. You will be fully office based for the first 6 months and thereafter twice a week from home should you wish.

What you’ll need

A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar is preferred, along with 3–5 years of experience (ideally in financial services). If not from the sector, you’ll need to show strong systems knowledge, confidence with data, event planning expertise and the ability to translate complex concepts into client-friendly content. You’re a self-starter, a sharp thinker, and an executor – not just a planner or delegator.

What you’ll get

You’ll receive a market-related salary within a company that values innovation and leadership. The team culture is professional but down-to-earth, with a family feel and a fast-paced, collaborative energy. After your 6-month probation, you’ll move to a hybrid model (3 days in-office).
