What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll support the design team by creating and converting 2D and 3D machine models using AutoCAD and Inventor tailoring these to meet specific client needs. Your work will span conceptualising new machinery making continuous improvements to existing systems and designing tools and components. You’ll contribute to R&D initiatives participate in assembling machines and assist with internal processes like BOM creation supplier communication and cost saving design iterations. It’s a broad and dynamic role giving you real exposure to the full engineering lifecycle.

What you’ll need

A BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent along with 1 to 2 years of experience in mechanical design or machine building. You’ll need proficiency in CAD tools Inventor is preferred but AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar are also useful. Practical understanding of manufacturing processes and problem-solving capabilities are essential. If you’ve worked in production or with fitting and turning even better.
