Product Manager

Salary: Market related

Own the full product lifecycle in a leading technical solutions environment!

Is this you?

You’re analytical, structured, and commercially savvy — with a passion for both products and people. You’re just as comfortable working with suppliers and global teams as you are solving problems and digging into product data. You can think strategically, communicate clearly, and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment. Sound like you? You’re probably already known for your ability to collaborate, think creatively, and lead with purpose.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be responsible for driving the full lifecycle of a product portfolio within the instruments, tools, and identification space. From defining vision and setting roadmaps to managing supplier relationships and providing technical training, your days will be full and varied. You’ll support digitisation projects, ensure global marketing alignment, and oversee product marketing strategy — including pricing, promotions and positioning. There’s also a strong analytical component: reporting, competitor analysis, and customer insights will all form part of your toolkit.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a respected industry leader operating at the forefront of technical solutions across Africa. With a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer-focused service, the company offers a collaborative environment where initiative is rewarded, and global exposure is part of the deal. You’ll work with an experienced team that values agility, problem-solving and professional growth.

What you’ll need

You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical, industrial or electrical environment. You hold a relevant degree (NQF level 7) in Electrical, Electronics, Sales & Marketing, or equivalent. A postgraduate qualification in Project or Procurement Management would be a bonus. You’re tech-savvy, confident working across functions, and bring strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills to the table. Willingness to travel locally and internationally is essential.

What you’ll get

A competitive salary package with medical and pension benefits. You’ll be joining a business that prioritises growth, supports innovation, and offers the chance to engage with international teams, suppliers, and customers.
