You’re a structured, proactive planner who spots bottlenecks before they become production problems. Comfortable balancing competing priorities, you communicate clearly across manufacturing, procurement and internal stakeholders, while staying calm when schedules or materials shift.What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
Taking ownership of production planning, you’ll schedule and monitor customer orders from sales order through to completion and invoicing. You’ll release jobs against production schedules, monitor capacity with line leaders, expedite procurement and production activities, resolve material shortages and maintain standard and non-standard routings. You’ll also keep stakeholders informed of order progress, delays and non-conformances. You’ll enjoy seeing your planning directly improve service levels, workflow and on-time delivery.Where you’ll be doing it
Based in Germiston, you’ll join an established global engineering environment with a strong South African manufacturing footprint. The business operates in industrial pump and valve technology, combining local manufacturing expertise with international engineering standards and a focus on quality, innovation and employee development.What you’ll need
A Grade 12 qualification is essential, together with a Diploma or Degree in Operations Management or Industrial Engineering. You’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience in pump manufacturing and production planning, plus solid SAP and Microsoft 365 proficiencyWhat you’ll get
