What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

As an Engineer – Civil Pr.Eng, you’ll play a key role in designing and overseeing the construction of Solar PV plants and substations. You’ll be responsible for translating client specifications into detailed designs, managing stormwater, drainage, and foundation designs, and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with generating detailed bills of quantities (BoQs), developing cost estimates, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Your work will directly contribute to the success of high-profile infrastructure projects, providing a challenging and rewarding career path.

What you’ll need

Practical site experience, proficiency in software design packages like Prokon and Civil 3D, and a solid understanding of FIDIC and other engineering contracts are essential. Strong technical writing skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to professional development will set you apart as a candidate.
