You’ll lead the full lifecycle of PV and battery energy storage projects; from site identification and feasibility studies to securing land rights, financial modelling, and stakeholder negotiations. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you’ll help craft preliminary designs and yield analysis while managing development budgets, schedules, and permitting processes. Your work will also involve tendering, proposal writing, and maintaining relationships with municipalities, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.Where you’ll be doing it

A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred), coupled with 3–4 years’ experience in renewable energy project development. You’ll bring strong project and contract management skills, along with proficiency in Helioscope, financial modelling, and land acquisition processes. Knowledge of South Africa’s regulatory landscape and excellent negotiation skills are key.What you’ll get
