What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll take the lead in developing renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, BESS, and hybrid systems, across South Africa. Your role will include identifying new opportunities, managing project budgets, and working with external consultants. You’ll contribute to strategic planning, support PPA discussions, and represent the organisation with key stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of innovative energy solutions.

What you’ll need

You’ll have at least 2 years’ experience in renewable energy project development, with a solid grasp of technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects. You’ll be a skilled communicator with strong negotiation abilities, capable of managing diverse projects and stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in a technical or commercial field is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools. GIS experience and a valid driver’s licence are musts, with fluency in English (and other South African languages a plus).
