What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

Your focus will be on maintaining accounting records to trial balance, preparing financial statements for trusts and companies, managing tax compliance and producing financial reports for client meetings and statutory requirements. You’ll work closely with relationship managers, administrators and international colleagues to ensure accurate, timely reporting. You’ll enjoy this role because it offers variety, exposure to complex financial structures and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a high-performing client accounting team.

What you’ll need

A BCom Accounting degree together with completed SAIPA Articles and the professional examination are non-negotiable. Exposure to trusts and company structures is essential, along with knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, CaseWare, Xero and Microsoft Office. Registration as a Tax Practitioner, or the ability to complete the SARS readiness programme, will be advantageous.
