Sales Advisor

Location: Cape Town

Salary: Market related

If you’re tired of selling products no one wants, then you’ll love what you’re selling here!

Is this you?

You’re a confident communicator who enjoys speaking to customers and building genuine relationships. You are naturally persuasive and friendly, you’re great at understanding what people need and enjoy guiding them towards the right choice. You’re resilient, self-motivated and comfortable working towards sales targets, and you thrive in an environment where strong performance is recognised and rewarded.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll spend your day following up on incoming enquiries from customers who have already shown interest in the product, guiding them through the available options and helping them choose what best suits their needs. Using a friendly, consultative approach, you’ll build rapport, recommend the most suitable option and occasionally assist with once-off purchases where appropriate. You’ll keep accurate notes in the CRM system and focus on converting interest into long-term customers while delivering a positive customer experience. Best of all, you’ll be working with warm leads rather than cold prospects, allowing you to focus on building relationships instead of pushing for a sale.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be joining a long-established subscription-based business that has built a loyal community of customers over several decades. Known for their strong industry relationships and commitment to quality, they focus on delivering carefully curated selections to customers across South Africa. The team environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on building lasting customer relationships. The role also offers a hybrid working model, with the opportunity to work from home depending on experience.

What you’ll need

Previous experience in telesales, inside sales or a customer advisory role will set you up for success. You’ll need to be sales and target driven, with strong communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to guide customers through choices in a friendly and consultative way, and confidence working towards sales targets. Basic computer literacy and experience using CRM systems are important, along with a proactive and self-motivated approach.

What you’ll get

A competitive basic salary depending on experience, supported by a strong commission structure that rewards performance and offers excellent earning potential. You’ll also enjoy flexible working hours, staff discounts and the opportunity to develop your knowledge while working within a supportive and collaborative team.
