What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this hybrid technical-sales role, you’ll act as a trusted consultant to clients in the African offshore Oil & Gas sector. Working closely with global strategy, engineering and project teams, you’ll support sales efforts through technical input, develop proposals for EPCI services, and help shape marketing materials. You’ll provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles, conduct feasibility studies, and participate in offshore site surveys. Your insights will influence new business opportunities and support project success from concept to completion.

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, structural, or related engineering discipline is essential, alongside at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector. You’ll need a strong understanding of EPCI workflows, engineering practices, and offshore infrastructure. Your background likely includes proposal preparation, business development, and regulatory knowledge (e.g. API, ISO, DNV). Certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous. Travel readiness and experience in the African business environment are key.
