What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll manage and grow a high-performing sales team, leading both internal and external sales efforts. From setting budgets and pricing strategies to building client relationships and overseeing technical sales processes, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market reach. Your day will include developing the team through recruitment and training, managing customer accounts, supporting trials, and providing reporting and insight to senior management.

You’ll be joining a well-established supplier of technical products to the food and chemical industries, based in Rivonia. What you’ll need

You’ll need at least 5 years of external sales experience and 2 years in a sales management role, preferably within the food, science, or chemical sectors. A relevant qualification in sales, food science, or a technical discipline is ideal. You’ll need excellent leadership, negotiation, and organisational skills, along with strong business acumen. Proficiency in MS Office, own transport, and fluency in English and Afrikaans are essential (German is a bonus).
