Take the lead in designing commercial and utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems while managing projects from initial concept through to successful implementation. Your role will include producing electrical designs, technical documentation, simulations and engineering drawings, while working closely with suppliers, contractors and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. You’ll also contribute to feasibility studies, technical proposals and site inspections. A BEng, BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering, together with around 5 to 6 years’ Solar PV experience and at least 2 to 3 years working with Battery Energy Storage Systems. Experience designing commercial and utility-scale systems, managing projects through implementation and using software such as PVsyst, PVSol and AutoCAD is essential. A strong understanding of South African electrical standards, excellent report writing skills and a valid driver’s licence will set you up for success.What you’ll get
