You’re a qualified Civil engineer with a strong sales / business development personality, interested in broadening your industry scope and exposure. You have strong contacts and a history in sales development within the building and construction industry. You’re entrepreneurial and looking for an opportunity to build an organisation and be part the initial growth phrases and footprint expansion.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
This is a technical solution driven role, focusing on expert technical advice on fastening solutions. You’ll be the territory lead for the Gauteng region. You’ll be responsible for engaging new client contacts, developing new relationships, marketing and promoting the business product solution offering technical application support and closing of sales agreements and orders. You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle from information packs, invoicing and finalising receipt of payments.
Where you’ll be doing it
You’ll enjoy a hybrid work environment, with occasional office visits in Sandton. You’ll join a newly registered South African entity, backed in full by the international parent company in Europe.
What you’ll need
A Bachelors Degree, Preferably B.Sc or B.Eng in Civil Engineering, combined with demonstrated sales in the building and construction industry. An entrepreneurial spirit combined with the ability to work independently.
