What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You will play a pivotal role in the renewable energy sector. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, such as installing solar systems and pricing projects. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge tools like HelioScope and HomerPro to perform simulations and provide innovative solutions.
A significant aspect of your role will involve engaging with clients directly. This includes conducting site visits, where you’ll have the chance to showcase your expertise and deliver impactful presentations. Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, making it an ideal setting for self-starters who thrive under pressure.
You will also be entrusted with building trust-based relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their unique needs. Rooftop engineering will be a crucial part of your role, and we encourage you to develop and enhance this skill further. Optimising project solutions using in-house software to provide the best results for our customers will be another key aspect of your work. Additionally, you will craft accurate and timely quotations, ensuring they align with our company’s margin guidelines. Your role will also involve offering technical advice and support for customer projects
Where you’ll be doing it
You will be working for a proudly South African Renewable Energy Company partnering with industrial, commercial and residential clients across the African Continent to assist them to become energy independent. Your ultra-modern new office is based in Fourways.
What you’ll need
To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. You must have a proven track record of experience in solar system installation and tendering. Proficiency in HelioScope is crucial, and prior experience with HomerPro would be advantageous. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential, and coding skills would be a valuable asset. You should also be capable of working effectively under tight deadlines and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
