What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
As the Head of Open Area Projects, you’ll be at the forefront of our Solar PV revolution. Your responsibilities will span a wide spectrum, from managing and maintaining the sales cycle for ground mount project sales to understanding and applying various mechanical and structural concepts in our solar PV mounting structures. You’ll create and execute a strategic marketing plan, oversee the technical support and design team, and generate professional drawings for solar PV structures.
Your role will also involve project management, procurement, and supply chain activities, along with proactive interaction with project stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll focus on developing and nurturing strategic supplier partnerships and integrating an international supply strategy for products and raw materials. With your proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting and design software, you’ll play a vital role in our product management efforts. Expect a dynamic, multifaceted role where your problem-solving skills, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to handle pressure will be put to the test.

What you’ll need
To excel in this role, you should have a relevant tertiary qualification in civil, structural, and/or mechanical engineering, coupled with proven experience in a business/sales environment. Your strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic business models and marketing strategies are essential. A genuine interest in the Solar PV industry, a sound working knowledge of structural and mechanical concepts, and proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting and design software (including AutoCad and Inventor) are critical. Your professional approach, impeccable attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a global team are paramount
