Regional Financial Manager

Location: Milnerton, Cape Town

Salary: Market related

The Company is growing and it needs YOU to drive regional financial success to new heights!

Is this you?

Are you an organised, goal-oriented financial leader with a proven track record in managing diverse financial functions? If you possess a strong work ethic, an outgoing personality, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation, this role is your next big opportunity to shine. We are looking for a clear leader who can set expectations and demands, oversee complex issues, and prioritize effectively within a dynamic international setting.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

As the Regional Financial Manager, you will oversee budgeting and forecasting, manage internal controls, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You’ll conduct financial analyses, identifying trends and opportunities that impact strategic planning. Your role will also encompass cash management to optimize working capital and supervising a talented finance team, fostering their growth and alignment with broader corporate goals. Your strategic input will be crucial in expansion initiatives and participating in major sales and contractual negotiations, enhancing the financial health and operational efficiency of the region.

You’ll need to manage many different entities across many jurisdictions with a local team supporting you but perhaps in the future a global team.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is at the forefront of engineering solutions expanding in to Africa. By joining this team, you’ll be part of an organisation that values collaboration and growth, all within a culture that champions professional development.

The office is based in Milnerton, Cape Town. For the probation period, you’ll be fully office based. Thereafter there is a hybrid situation with 1 – 2 days work from home (granted you have a stable internet connection and covered in loadshedding). You’ll join a great team of professionals who value integrity, dedication and accountability.

You will be required to travel in the future, however, that still needs to be established and discussed as the need arises.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for either a CA with 5 years post articles experience or a Bcom with about 10 years financial experience. You should be highly organised, possess a strong leadership profile, and have the ability to see the finance function from a business perspective. A clear understanding of GAAP or IFRS, along with experience in tax and legal compliance on a global scale, is essential. We’re looking for a great team leader with a strong understanding and skill of resource allocation to meet the growing needs of the business and a willingness to travel to the regions you work, should the need arise.

What you’ll get

You’ll receive a market related salary and the opportunity to join a globally recognized organisation that values your well-being and provide a healthy working environment. There is the chance of earning a performance related bonus. Join us and be part of a team that’s making a tangible difference worldwide.
