Location: Claremont, Cape Town

Salary: Market related

Join a future-focused finance team where automation, insight, and collaboration drive success!

Is this you?

You’re a meticulous, solution-driven finance professional with a passion for data, process optimisation, and clear communication. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can flex both your analytical brain and creative problem-solving skills. You enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, adding value beyond the numbers, and using tech tools to streamline and improve financial reporting. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and love turning complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this role, you’ll lead the change in enhancing financial reporting processes — building and maintaining automated Power BI dashboards, optimising cash flow reports, preparing budgets, and assisting in regulatory compliance submissions. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to create impactful, data-driven presentations and help identify process improvements that reduce manual workloads. Beyond reporting, you’ll step in to support your colleagues when needed, foster cross-team collaboration, and contribute to project management initiatives that sharpen financial performance.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is a well-established financial services firm that offers a blend of traditional values and modern innovation. Known for its specialist wealth and fund services, the business prides itself on fostering a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where professionals are empowered to innovate and improve. You’ll be based in professional offices in Claremont, Cape Town.

What you’ll need

You’ll need to be a CA(SA) with 3-5 years’ post-articles experience — preferably within the wealth or asset management sector. You should bring strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and financial reporting, along with exposure to Xero and automation tools like Power Automate or VBA. Sharp analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders will set you apart.

What you’ll get

You’ll join a supportive, high-performing finance team that values proactive thinking, collaboration, and technical skill. The company offers competitive pay, flexibility through hybrid working, and the chance to work closely with senior leaders to shape the future of the finance function.
