What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

This role involves managing and supervising a fund accounting team, ensuring timely production of financial statements and reports, coaching and training team members, overseeing audits, maintaining client relationships, addressing queries, and actively participating in projects. It requires a proactive, organized, and flexible approach to work with a focus on minimizing errors and achieving efficiency gains while upholding service excellence.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be joining one of the biggest investment administration firms in Cape Town that services clients all over the world. They focus on providing a service that is both reliable and flexible while focussing on being innovative.  The role is mostly office based in Century City with the option to work hybrid at a later stage once you’re fully trained. You’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who are equally as well qualified as what you are and your leaders are mentors who have been in the industry for many years.

What you’ll need

You need to be a qualified CA(SA) or ACCA with no less than 1 year’s qualifying experience in fund administration/fund accounting where you have also managed a team. You need to be based in Cape Town as you will be office-based 3 days per week.
