You’re an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in property development, renovations, and on-site construction management. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your ability to liaise with architects, contractors, and stakeholders makes you a strong communicator, and you’re proactive in managing risks, compliance, and budgets. With a keen eye for detail, you’re always looking for ways to optimise efficiency while maintaining top-quality standards.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be managing property development and renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with the company’s standards and objectives. This involves conducting feasibility studies, risk evaluations, and cost estimates to guide acquisition decisions. You’ll oversee pre-construction planning, coordinate with architects and service providers, and ensure regulatory compliance with building approvals. On-site, you’ll lead contractor management, monitor progress, and maintain quality control. You’ll also handle budgeting, financial reporting, and supplier negotiations to keep projects cost-effective. With each successful project, you’ll contribute to shaping high-quality, functional spaces that meet market demands.

What you’ll need

You’ll need experience managing on-site construction projects, contractors, and renovations. A degree or diploma in Building, Construction, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. Strong budgeting, compliance, and risk management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You must be a South African citizen with a valid driver’s licence and your own transport, as travel between building sites will be required.
