You’ll play a pivotal role in client relationship management, acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams. This entails handling client concerns, enhancing relationships, and maintaining an updated CRM system to optimize client interactions. Additionally, this involves supporting business development efforts by preparing high-quality presentations and coordinating meetings, trips, and client engagements. Collaboration and teamwork are emphasized, encouraging a cohesive environment where respect, open-mindedness, and fairness prevail. You will also engage with marketing teams, organize client events, and continuously strive to improve the overall customer experience.
You’ll be joining one of the top asset managers in the country who has revolutionised how they manage funds by adapting a systematic investment philosophy that has enabled them to grow year on year with top fund performance. You’ll be based in professional offices in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, with a beautiful view of the mountains.
To be successful in this role, you need to have a relevant tertiary degree with a minimum of 4 years of working experience in investment management, stockbroking, fund services, or private banking, focusing on institutional client service, client engagement, and business development support. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is crucial, alongside a strong background in using CRM systems. A positive attitude, being client-centric, and service-driven, with excellent organizational skills, reliability, attention to detail, self-motivation, and exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal are essential for this role.
