You have experience as a Retail BDM with a proven track record and established relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). Here’s your opportunity to present a new world of investment opportunities and solutions to your IFA network and get rewarded for every inflow you receive.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
In this pivotal role, you will build and strengthen relationships with Independent Financial Advisors in Cape Town and surrounding areas, tailoring fund solutions to meet their unique business models and investment needs. You’ll promote a diverse range of multi-manager funds, pitch to IFAs, and identify new business opportunities to drive asset growth. Your expertise will shine as you conduct presentations and workshops, keeping Advisors informed about investment strategies and market trends. Collaboration with internal teams will be key, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional onboarding experiences for clients. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to Johannesburg monthly to establish and build a network in Gauteng.

Our client is a well-regarded multi manager, renowned for its commitment to innovative financial solutions and client-focused strategies. You’ll be office based in professional offices in Paarl. You’ll be working in an environment that is collaborative and dynamic, where your contributions will directly impact both the firm and its clients as well as yourself in terms of performance bonuses.
What you’ll need
To thrive in this role, you need to have a completed degree in Finance or Investments, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or client relationship management within the asset management sector. A proven track record of success working with IFAs is essential, as is a strong knowledge of multi-manager investment products and financial markets. Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite will be beneficial.
