Location: Sandton, Gauteng
You are a target driven sales hunter focusing on expanding the company’s customer base and revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for selling the company’s products by identifying leads, educating prospective clients on products through calls, trainings and presentations. You provide existing customers with exceptional support, understanding the importance of strong customer service. You have a knack for closing deals and are self-assured. You have a proven track record of successfully building and managing productive and professional customer relationships within the telecommunications sector.
You will be responsible for generating and qualifying outbound sales leads through cold calling and following up on inbound leads. The position involves scheduling meetings and presentations with potential clients to assess their needs and promote products and services. Additionally, the job requires assisting with quotes and contracts, addressing client inquiries and delivering presentations on company products. You will also conduct on-site client surveys as per site survey checklists. You will maintain a robust sales pipeline, establishing and nurturing relationships with both prospective clients and existing customers. Meeting or exceeding agreed-upon sales targets is a crucial performance indicator. Furthermore, effective coordination with team members and other departments is essential to optimise the overall sales effort.
You will be stationed at their offices in Sandton. Extensive travel to client sites throughout the Johannesburg region will be a regular component of your responsibilities, with occasional assignments outside the region.
You will need a Matric certificate together with 3-5 years of work experience within a sales or business development role, serving as a solid foundation. A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or any related field would be highly beneficial.
You have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, will be robust and your proficiency in Microsoft Office will be apparent. You have a good understanding of the sales process and dynamics and a commitment to excellent customer service. You have a valid driver’s licence and your own transport.
