You are a detail-oriented, solutions-driven Chartered Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and IFRS experience. You have a natural ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high-quality outputs. Your organisational prowess enables you to meet tight deadlines, and your proactive mindset drives effective problem-solving.
As the Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team, ensuring the accurate and timely month-end close process across all entities within the Group. You’ll oversee financial reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and bank reconciliations, ensuring everything is in line with regulations. You’ll be providing technical guidance on IFRS calculations, reviewing VAT and tax returns, and assisting with regulatory filings.
Additionally, you’ll lead financial projects, collaborate with auditors, and train your team to excel, making a tangible impact on the company’s financial success. You’ll need to be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with at least 5 years of post-qualifying experience. Your previous IFRS knowledge, particularly around IFRS 9 and 16, is essential. Managing and developing a teams is second nature to you, and you bring project management experience to the table. Ideally, you’ve worked in financial services and have experience with regulatory filings and tax compliance. Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a bonus, along with advanced Excel expertise.
