What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll be overseeing and providing technical solutions for SANRAL-related infrastructure projects. This includes conducting site visits, assessing and supporting project execution, and collaborating with contractors and project managers to ensure smooth operations. You’ll play a key role in designing, planning, and implementing engineering solutions while ensuring strict compliance with construction regulations and safety standards. Your problem-solving skills will be essential in troubleshooting challenges on-site, and you’ll liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to optimise efficiency in project delivery.

What you’ll need
You’ll need a Degree or Diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering, along with at least 5 years of experience in civil or construction engineering, ideally working on SANRAL projects. Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, road construction, and structural engineering is essential. Hands-on experience with scaffolding, formwork, or related construction engineering solutions will be an advantage. A deep understanding of South African engineering and construction regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to work on-site and travel as needed will be crucial for success in this role.
