You are a meticulous and experienced Quality Manager ready to take on a challenging role in the renewable energy sector and you thrive in overseeing construction processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your prior experience working within a wind project has given you the confidence to be a fresh and note-worthy addition to the site team around quality, safety, and detailed inception of the overall manufacturing and construction process.
You’re ready to make another significant impact in South Africa’s green energy space.
What this major IPP Energy company would like out of their team is just as much energy, commitment, and acumen to get the job done with passion and care.
As the Construction Quality Manager your main responsibilities will include establishing a comprehensive Project Quality Management Plan aligned with the clients quality policy.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality system, procedures, and documentation for the Project. Conducting quality inspections during manufacturing and construction processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Reviewing and verifying quality assurance and control plans of the EPC Contractor and its subcontractors, just to name a few.
You will be reporting directly to the site Project Manager.
Your office will be a dynamic and challenging environment. The wind cluster is located just near Noupoort in the Northern Cape. Embrace the excitement of being site-based for the 24-month fixed-term contract.

It’s important to have a good understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes in an EPC and solid knowledge of the OHS Act and its Regulations and have the ability to act objectively and independently and have a strong report writing ability.
The role will ask for time, skillset, and dedication, but in return you will have the advantage of a competitive and market-related package, the opportunity to work on site with a professional, diverse, and dynamic team of fellow engineers and to join a company that is only but growing in our South African market.
