What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

As the Construction Quality Manager your main responsibilities will include establishing a comprehensive Project Quality Management Plan aligned with the clients quality policy.

Developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality system, procedures, and documentation for the Project. Conducting quality inspections during manufacturing and construction processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Reviewing and verifying quality assurance and control plans of the EPC Contractor and its subcontractors, just to name a few.

You will be reporting directly to the site Project Manager.

Your office will be a dynamic and challenging environment. The wind cluster is located just near Noupoort in the Northern Cape. Embrace the excitement of being site-based for the 24-month fixed-term contract.

What you’ll need

Ideally, to be considered a perfect candidate for this role you should hold a tertiary technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a quality-related field as well as have a minimum 3 years of work experience in renewable projects as a civil engineer.

A previous experience as a Quality Control Manager in a utility-scale EPC Wind project is a definite advantage along with an excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management system.

It’s important to have a good understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes in an EPC and solid knowledge of the OHS Act and its Regulations and have the ability to act objectively and independently and have a strong report writing ability.
