What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this role, you’ll be initiating customer contact, qualifying leads, and identifying sales opportunities for the company while overseeing the complete sales cycle through various engagement methods. You will also be maintaining detailed CRM records, providing feedback on market trends, managing existing client relationships, articulating the company’s investment philosophy, participating in investment team activities, coordinating the RFP process, increasing assets under management, reporting sales activities to management, and networking to build relationships. Additionally, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all sales activities aligns with the company’s values

You’ll be joining one of the top asset managers in South Africa who also has an international presence. They have embraced technology and follow a systematic investment approach which has guaranteed their increased fund performance over the years. You’ll be joining the best of the best in the industry where you will be supported and mentored to really make an impact in the institutional asset management space. You’ll be based in professional offices in Sandton, Johannesburg but you can also be based in Cape Town at their offices in the southern suburbs.

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a relevant degree with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in institutional business development and client management in the Asset Management / EB field with a strong knowledge of funds and investment products. This position is strictly EE.
