What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll be developing technical specifications and designs for cutting-edge building systems including fire detection, security, AV, BMS, GRMS, and more. Working on high-profile hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and retail projects, you’ll create detailed AutoCAD layouts (and ideally Revit too), prepare design reports, assist with tenders, and ensure all systems meet industry standards. Your role also includes system integration, site inspections, and supporting commissioning to bring your designs to life.

What you’ll need
A Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or similar) and at least 5 years of experience in consulting engineering. You’ll need strong CAD skills, with Revit/BIM knowledge a plus. Familiarity with a range of building systems and a background in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial projects is key. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential, and ECSA registration (or eligibility) is a bonus.
