You’ll play a critical role in overseeing the company’s financial performance and driving strategic growth. Your days will include financial planning, reporting, and analysis to optimize costs and grow revenue. You’ll manage cash flow, FOREX planning, and treasury functions while collaborating with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment with financial goals. You’ll also enhance processes by improving financial systems, ERP implementations, and Power BI tools. Additionally, you’ll guide pricing strategies and ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards, safeguarding the company’s assets and maintaining its competitive edge. You will report directly to the MD, you won’t have any direct reports.
Our client is a global leader in renewable energy solutions, specialising in photovoltaic and energy storage systems. They have built a strong reputation for delivering turnkey solar energy solutions, from planning to execution. The work environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and mission-driven, with a commitment to sustainability and growth. You will be based at their beautiful offices in Seapoint, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. After your probation period there are 5 days per month work from home as an option.
To be considered, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with a CPA/CA qualification being a strong advantage. You will need to have a minimum of 5 years financial management/controlling experience, either in wholesale, distribution, or the renewable energy sector. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, financial modelling, and ERP systems is essential, as are exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. We’re also looking for proficiency in Power BI tools and forex. We’re needing someone that has a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, ever changing industry which will set you apart. Only SA Citizens may apply.
