What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll oversee financial management for the African region, from budgeting and forecasting to financial reporting and analysis. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of monthly financial closes across multiple entities, identifying trends and risks, and working on improvement plans. You’ll establish and maintain internal control procedures, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with international standards such as GAAP or IFRS. Leading a finance team of 5 employees, you’ll focus on their professional development while meeting regional financial goals. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with broader regional strategies.

The office is based in Milnerton, Cape Town. For the probation period, you’ll be fully office based. Thereafter there will be a day or two work from home  per week (granted you have a stable internet connection and covered in loadshedding). You’ll join a great team of professionals who value integrity, dedication and accountability.

What you’ll need

You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (a Master’s degree or CA (SA) qualification is preferred) along with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. A strong leader with solid management experience, you have an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. You possess a sharp business acumen, can manage complex financial issues, and prioritize key areas effectively. We’re looking for a young, dynamic and passionate individual.
