You’ve kick started your career in financial planning and the part you enjoy most if the research and analysis that happens before you can advise a client. This is your chance to focus on just that without the client consultation side of things so no need for you to find clients, do sales or chase targets.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll be doing highly technical investment analysis work to propose solutions and your main responsibility will be to prepare financial proposals and assist members/clients. You will propose solutions and draft financial recommendations to help clients meet their financial goals and needs.

You’ll be joining a small and innovative firm that provides customised financial planning and investment services to retirement funds and their members. They have been going for over 8 years and have experienced phenomenal growth so you will be part of a young dynamic team that strives to make a difference. Their beautiful professional offices are based in Bellville, you’ll be office based while being surrounded by a team of people just like you and where career growth is inevitable.
What you’ll need
This is financial planning so of course a completed degree in finance, investments or financial planning is essential. You need to have gained no less than 2 years’ experience in financial planning administration or as a Financial Planner with solid investment product knowledge. The business is paperless so good Excel skills are essential and you’ll be compiling presentations so PowerPoint is needed to. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential due to the reporting and data you’ll be working with.
